6th Annual Wilson Park Art Walk
I would like to say a big thank you to the 20 artists and other volunteers who participated in the Art in the Park on October 3, 2009. This year’s event was considered very successful. I think all the artists enjoyed getting out, painting, showing their work and talking with the people who came to the park. The sales were pretty good considering the uncertain economy. Chase Gipson of the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation said “I think this years’ children’s art tent activities was the best ever”. The weather was perfect, the Parks and Recreation cooked their hot dogs, the Ozark Youth Philharmonic Orchestra played and Miss Outstanding Teen Arkansas 2009 smiled and waved. Personally, I was amazed at all the help extended by ANA members to make this event happen. Overall, everything went very smoothly, although we were all tired out by the end of the day. All I can say is I appreciate all the people in ANA.
